MUTA
MUTA is a 1″ deflection spring hanger designed for acoustically isolated wire-tie drywall ceilings. The MUTA spring features a 1.5″ thick neoprene element at the top and eyebolts at the top and bottom for wire-tie attachment. MUTA springs are sold with project-specific shop drawings that detail the spring layout, spring deflections, seismic restraint, and installation sequencing. We offer an optional service to have the shop drawings fully engineered and signed/stamped by a state-licensed third-party structural engineer.
