IPRB
IPRB is used at the top of masonry or stud walls to provide resilient lateral support of walls that are fully decoupled from (not rigidly connected to) the structure of the floor above, deck, or roof.
The IPRB comprises a galvanized steel angle with an elastomeric isolation element adhered to the outside face of the L angle.
This product also comes in a reverse format (IPRB-R), which has the elastomeric element adhered to the inside face of the L angle.
It is available in 48″ (IPRB-48) or 6″ (IPRB-6) long segments standard. IPRB can be customized for heavier wall weights — please contact Acousthetics for more information.
