ExpandaMull is designed to fill the gap between an interior partition and the exterior envelope with a flexible design that allows for differential movement in the building facade. Concealed, expandable foam blocks, made from upcycled material, act as springs for controlled expansion and contraction.

The ExpandaMull Partition Gap Filler is easy to install for new construction or as a retrofit. Standard finishes are clear-anodized aluminum or raw aluminum for field-painting. Custom finishes, coatings and anodizing are available upon request. The standard designs fill gaps from 2-3/4″ up to 11″, creating a uniform, integrated, sleek appearance.

ExpandaMull is the first partition gap filler with a Declare Label, confirming that it contains no red list chemicals as defined by the Living Building Challenge. Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and VOC test reports are available for download on the website.

NOTE:  ExpandaMull is not rated for sound or fire.  Where sound and fire ratings are needed, the tried and true solution is: Mull-It-Over!
