Alto
Alto is a sound-absorbing wood panel that consists of a perforated MDF core with a grooved finish, in wood veneer, painted, or laminate. Alto 8 has a 5mm/3mm groove spacing; Alto 16 has a 13mm/3mm groove spacing. Alto can be fabricated in large, custom-sized panels hung on Z-clips, or tongue-and-groove planks that are typically field installed over furring strips with 1″ or 2″ fiberglass backing. Alto can also be fabricated with a fire-rated MDF core.
