Enhance Acoustics and Aesthetics with Vogl Perforated Drywall
Improve sound quality and aesthetics with Vogl, a cost-effective, perforated gypsum board system designed for superior noise absorption and a monolithic look. Perfect for ceilings and walls, Vogl panels are ½” thick and available in various perforation patterns to match your design needs.
Vogl panels include an acoustically absorptive fleece backing achieving NRC values ranging from 0.55 to 0.85. Additional sound absorption can also be specified behind the fleece backer. Vogl panels install just like standard drywall, fastening directly to framing, furring channels, or suspended grid systems. Once joints are treated with manufacturer-supplied tape and filler, the panels can be painted with a roller while maintaining their acoustic performance. Additionally, Vogl can seamlessly transition to standard drywall, allowing for a cohesive, uninterrupted aesthetic throughout a space. Borders can easily be installed in the field, offering unlimited design creativity to match any project’s vision.
For further customization, Vogl boards can be dipped in paint to change the color of the perforations, and the special fleece backing is available in custom colors as well. This allows for even more design flexibility while maintaining high acoustic performance.
Ideal for restaurants, offices, classrooms, airports, lobbies, and other commercial spaces, Vogl panels can be easily refreshed with roll painting for long-term maintenance.
