Sound Damp
Sound Damp2 is a roll-applied drywall damping compound that is designed to be applied between two layers of drywall to improve the STC rating of a stud wall. This product is well suited to renovations where there are existing walls. You can simply apply a new layer of drywall to the existing drywall with Sound Damp2 to improve the sound isolation performance. A 5-gallon pail covers approximately 370 sq. ft. Odorless after drying, easy to clean up with water, and no special applicators required.
